Tuxedo #2 Cocktail Recipe

Happy New Year!

We have no idea what 2017 will bring, but we know we’re ready to turn the page on 2016 and try something new. To welcome the new year in style, we present to you this classy 50/50 martini we found in our beloved Savoy Cocktail Book. It’s suitable for any black tie event.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 oz gin
• 1 1/2 oz dry vermouth
• 1 dash anise liqueur
• 1 dash maraschino liqueur
• 2 dashes orange bitters

Instructions

• Stir all ingredients with ice until well-chilled.
• Strain into a cocktail glass.
• Watch ball drop.
• Clink glasses with strangers and friends alike.
