Pumpkin Vodka Martini Cocktail Recipe
Last week, we did some experiments infusing spirits with pumpkin. We infused the vodka simply as a point of comparison with our main object, rum. But it end up turning out pretty well, with an actual fresh pumpkin flavor quite distinct from the sweet syrup you’ll find around this time of year. It was good enough, in fact, that when we were done with our experiments, on a whim we decided to make a martini with the remnant. It, of course, called for something a little sweeter and spicier than dry vermouth; so we once again turned to the rich, delicious Cocchi di Torino.
You should definitely try infusing your own vodka; it’s fun, interesting, and easy. If you don’t, a barrel-rested gin would also taste delicious with the Torino.
Ingredients
- 2 oz pumpkin-infused vodka
- 1/2 oz Cocchi di Torino
